The United Methodist Women is an integral part of the United Methodist Church. In every local church, there should be an organized unit.

Membership shall be open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Methodist Women. Members are involved through prayer, giving, attending meetings, study, action or service. This community of women is centered in relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

One of the main focuses is on ministries with women, children, and youth. They are involved in mission locally and globally. Our unit pledges are to finance support for missions through undesignated giving.

Our purpose states: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
