100th Anniversary Ulster United Methodist Church Building
People came from far and wide to celebrate Sunday, September 30, 2012. Ulster UMC celebrated the 100th anniversary of the church building with special services starting at 10:00 am. Memories were shared by past pastors, Raymond Brooks, Ted Corcelius, Jason Guillaume, and Sandy Brant. Pastor James Rouse welcomed members of the Trinity Charge which includes Ulster, Monroeton, and New Albany churches, visitors, and guests. The church was overflowing with people, joys, and memories. District Superintendent Rev. Beth Jones gave the message.
A ham dinner was served in the fellowship hall. A skit “the General Store” was presented by the ladies of the Ulster United Methodist Church. “Noah”, a reading written by Bill Cosby, was read by Kurt Lafy. Special music included Ulster Praise Band, Ulster choir, Sue Layman, Bob Lee, and Tricia Yale Burns.
