What is Operation Christmas Child?
The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes—filled with school supplies, hygiene items, fun toys and notes of encouragement—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.

How do you get involved?
Find a shoe box.
Decide if you will pack for a boy or girl
Decide what age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.
Fill it with gifts like a doll, soccer ball with a pump, stuffed animal, hygiene items and school supplies.
Pray for the child who will receive your gift. You can even include a personal note and photo.
Drop off your shoebox @ New Albany UMC.

Deadline for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: November 5
